How Many Fish

All ponds will vary in planting density and filtration capacity, which will affect possible stocking levels. However a good rule for initial stocking is 5cm or 2in of fish per 0.1 sq. m (I sq. ft) of surface area. This will allow the fish room to grow, and remember fish can breed quite quickly.
